WoolSafe Information

WoolSafe Approved Carpet Care Products

The WoolSafe Organisation has run an international certification program for professional and consumer carpet maintenance products since 1991. Products are independently tested to WoolSafe Standard WS 1001 and those that meet the performance requirements are issued with a Certificate. The Manufacturers, our Chemical Licensees, are entitled to display the WoolSafe Certification Mark on packaging, product literature and advertising material related to the product.

All 250+ products currently approved are subject to annual re-evaluation to ensure they continue to meet the WoolSafe requirements. Testing and certification is carried out at the head office in England. The offices in Europe, the USA, Australia and South Africa provide a first point of contact for our overseas members and for new enquiries.

Green WoolSafe Approved Carpet Care Products
